Management of SSFR

SSFR is administered by a Board of Directors made up of the State representatives, Employers and Workers. Everyday management is held by a General Director appointed by the Prime Minister.

The principal activities of the SSFR are:

  1. Collecting and managing contributions as determined by Law;
  2. Providing funds to the beneficiaries;
  3. Carrying out investment;
  4. Sensitizing people on sustainable social security;
  5. Examining ways of extending social security;
  6. Providing advice to government on matters relating to social security;
  7. Establishing relations and collaborating with other regional or international institutions carrying out similar missions
